Relay for Life held the first annual Survivor and Corporate Sponsor Kick off dinner, thus officially starting the walk toward the cure.
With a fine meal and entertainment by the entire Relay for life team, this was a night for friends to reconnect, memories to be shared and everyone to come together for a common goal. The battle against a disease, that not only steals lives, but for some the ability to hope for a future.
So this year’s relay is appropriately names “No place like HOPE” with the Wizard of OZ imagery to remind us that there are dreams, wishes and HOPE just down the road on this battle to make it home.
