In the future we will add photos of stores from the inside to give you a taste of what you will see when visiting our Downtown section. If you are a store owner and wish to have us stop by and photograph your store please contact us.
Desert Photos is a "not-for-profit" organization, it is our intention to promote our community, southeast New Mexico, as well as the southwest. Who says the best things in life can't be free!

Ah downtown Carlsbad, we love the personal touch of locally owned stores that you don't get with the large chain stores. This was Main Street Carlsbad's first Uncle Sam Sale, and it looked like everyone was enjoying the live band with Dancing in the streets. There were great sales and Uncle Sam even passing out raffle tickets. We even had radio coverage by 92.9 KZ93, all in all it was a great evening with the sales and the stores open late.
