New Look for Desert Photos

For 13 years I have used Notepad to build all websites, I finally got lazy and decided to use Drupal. However I did not make a point to explain how it works....oops....my bad. Each of the stories below are in brief form below each header, when you click on "Read More" there are the photos links and video as well as the rest of the story. The front page is set at 5 stories and each archives as new stories are added. The links to the old stories are at the bottom of the page. Across the top are the links to the other sections of our site as well as the links to "Eddy County News" the forum for southeast New Mexico. You will also find Nikonlady's comments at her "Snitze and Fizzle" blog.

The bulk of our photos can be found on "Community Events", using the same forum software WowUltra like Eddy County News. There you will find everything seperated into subjects of events, and landscapes. Under each header you will find the different topics with the links in each topic format. This software is used to help keep the links sorted as well as allowing them to archive. At present count we have close to 50,000 photos on the site. Rarely do we remove photos, this is the reason we chose to use both the Drupal and WowUltra software. Keeping up with the constant rebuilding and uploading of pages was driving me crazy..........ok it was a short trip.

This is just a way to keep our main website updated and fresh. Links outside of our sites will be provided on the left. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you for visiting our sites, We hope you have a good visit.
